Tools to build a voice agent using database

Hi folks - I am working on a learning project with my cousin who is graduating in computer science to make him learn this new agentic AI paradogm so he can get a job. next year. I myself am a product manager in software with 15+ years experience and think this would be good for his career. Use case - We are trying to figure out what are the right mimimun toolset to build an agent which can accept user’s prompt in both text and voice in multiple languages and then 1. look up some data from a database 2. look up some SOPs from documents via RAG 3. Use domain specific knowledge of LLM itself (and in future use a Model built specifically for this knowledge). For now, we are intro level familiar with - Langflow, Python, Huggingface and know some LLM /Agentic AI jargon at basic level. Is there a suggested architecture at least? I understand there are myriad of choices when it comes to tooling of each piece but an actual architecture and if some tools worked for you than knowing about them would be great. Thanks

The author articulates a specific use case and seeks suggestions for architecture and tools, demonstrating a direct need for help related to AI and agents, thus matching the criteria.

Any interest in discord server?

Hey all! Idk how much interest would be in starting a discord server on learning about and keeping up with gen AI. Especially agents and agent building. I'm doing my masters in computer science and I'd love more people to hangout with and talk to. I try to keep up with the latest news, papers and research, but its moving so fast I cant keep up with everything. I'm mainly interested in prompting techniques, agentic workflows, and LLMs. If you'd like to join that'd be great! Its pretty new but I'd love to have you!

Why this matches: The user is expressing a need for support and interaction regarding learning about generative AI, particularly focusing on agents and agent building, which aligns with the criteria of needing help with AI and agents. They mention the fast-paced nature of the field, implying a desire for assistance in keeping up with developments, thus fitting the requirement of seeking help rather than merely discussing tools.

Started my first SaaS in my 40's, made first sale ever

Hey Everyone, I recently launched a chrome extension to organize conversations in ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. I have a background in software development of around 15 years but I never got a chance to work on my own project primarily due to busy work commitments. Finally decide to launch my own micro software piece that came up due to the lack to organizations of so many chat threads in any AI tool I used. So I picked the three most popular AI chat market and made a chrome extension out of it. After 3 days for my launch I made my first sale ever. Although its a $5 recurring subscription the feeling is just surreal. You can only feel it once you see that first sale popping up. The extension, landing page, demo video everything I did as a solo dev. Keep working on what you are doing and be passionate about it.

Travel Agents: Is there a demand for them?

I am working on a multi-agent AI travel guide that helps you plan and organise your trips from start to finish, just want some feedback on how saturated the niche is and would there be genuine demand for such a service. I know there are quite few travel agents out there but none of them seem to provide an all-in-one solution. Also would love to hear about any features you would like to see in such a service. Some of the features I'm planning to include are: - Find the best flights and hotels depending on the budget and user reviews (Understands your requirements and doesn't just show the cheapest/best reviewed ones) - Complete planning within the budget specified by the user - Manage individual splits when travelling as a group - Finding the best modes of transport from A to B - Helps you translate anything in real time - Food recommendations These are just some features I have thought about for now, would love to hear some genuine feeback :)

This directly relates to the use of AI in providing helpful solutions, which matches the criteria of needing help with AI and agents. Is AI going to replace 60% jobs?

My thoughts are: I think AI has the potential to automate certain tasks, but it's unlikely to "replace" 60% of jobs entirely. Instead, AI will reshape jobs by automating repetitive tasks, enhancing productivity, and creating demand for new skills. Now the thing is that if you are not going to stay on track with new technologies then you might get left behind. The shift emphasizes job transformation rather than outright replacement. For entrepreneurs, this presents opportunities to leverage AI for efficiency while upskilling teams to focus on higher-value work. We should now more than ever Start learning how to work alongside AI. Your thoughts?

Why this matches: The content discusses the role of AI in the workforce, focusing on how it will change jobs and create new opportunities rather than just replacing them. Is anyone else scared that AI will replace their business?

Obviously, everyone has seen the clickbait titles about how AI will replace jobs, put businesses out of work, and all that doom-and-gloom stuff. But lately, it’s been feeling a bit more realistic. I just did a quick Google search for "how many businesses will AI replace," and I came across a study by McKinsey & Company claiming *"that by 2030, up to 800 million jobs could be displaced by automation and AI globally".* That's only 5 years away. Friends and family working in different jobs / businesses like accounting, manufacturing, and customer service are starting to talk about it more and more. For context, I work in software development, and it feels like every day there’s a new AI tool or advancement impacting this industry, sometimes for better or worse. It’s like a double-edged sword. On one hand, there’s a new market for businesses looking to adopt AI. That’s good news for now. But on the other hand, the tech is evolving so quickly that it’s hard to ignore that a lot of what developers do now could eventually be taken over by AI. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think AI will replace everything or everyone overnight. But it’s clear in the next few years that big changes are coming. Are other business owners worried about this too?

Why this matches: The content discusses concerns about AI potentially replacing jobs and impacting businesses, specifically highlighting how AI tools are evolving and affecting the software development industry. The author expresses a need for awareness and understanding of AI's implications for future business operations, indicating that they would benefit from assistance with navigating changes brought by AI. Therefore, this fits the criteria of users needing help with AI.

AI Agent for analysing file dump

Could anyone recommend a AI agent that can be tasked to search a particular context from a disorganised dump of files & folders and even recommend structure to organise them? The closest i've seen pertaining to search is the native search engines of the OS which are keyword based. Another application is the [Open Semantic Desktop Search](https://opensemanticsearch.org/) but its not ready as a daily driver.

Why this matches: The content describes a user's need for an AI agent to help with organizing and searching through a disorganized dump of files and folders. This aligns well with the criteria, as the user is seeking assistance in applying AI to solve a specific problem.
